I Couldn't Wait To Grow Up.

When I was a little girl, I couldn't wait to grow up.
All I ever wanted, wished for, dreamed of was being a mother and that requires a little growing up. Unless of course you think Teen Mom (you know that show on MTV) is a good idea, then by all means.. don't grow up and make a baby. (hello young readers, hello)

When I was a little girl I would watch the adults in my life sit around and talk to one another for hours and hours.
I would dread their lives, as I played hide n'go seek with my cousins, who were my closest friends.  I made my best childhood memories with them.

As a grown adult one of my favorite things to is sit around a room with said cousins, discussing our lives.  As their little ones are passed from lap to lap..
And we laugh about the hours and hours we spent growing in our grandparents basement.

When I was a little girl I never really thought that growing up is something else entirely.
Sometimes the best moments are the ones filled with childlike laughter and ridiculous little moments brought to pass because of the perfect gift from your best friend.  Those little gifts you find when you need a break from your life, and it happens at the best moment.

What did you wish for?

I imagine the rootbeer/tomato juice combo to be a lot like the sensation I feel when I listen to TSwift.

Tomato juice? Am I the only one grossed out by this?

The amazing silly straw is completely legit and I enjoy laughing at you as always but all I was thinking about was V8 horrible childhood memories slowly slurping their way into your mouth and I wang to die

Hahaha - "It's sip-sational!"

Also - I freaking love tomato juice. V8. Whatever. Go you.

I cannot drink tomato juice. Not even with alcohol. I can barely even eat tomato soup.

This video totally just made my day. Where do I get me one of those silly straws. When I was kid, all I wanted to do was grow up and be married. Now that I'm grown up and married, I really just want to act like a kid. Ironic? Life is funny sometimes.

Also, tomato juice? Gross.

Haha, I got one of those straws for Michael for Christmas. Watching him drink with it was priceless.

There are many distinct advantages to being single for life. The use of a silly straw is just one of many.

Thank you for inspiring my blog post for tomorrow. You are fantastic.

The straw is amazing, however the fact that it was tomato juice going through it kinda grossed me out, it's so wrong.
Love the hat!!

my only aspiration was to be a mountain climber who free dove into lakes for sport. and i desperately wanted to meet jerry seinfeld.. big aspirations over here! my husband + i still feel like kids playing grown-up! fo real! but i think i like it better that way..

AND..i'll be watching the video after work, and will have to comment at a later time because it sounds like there's some controversial tomato juice chatter, and i really (really) love tomato juice.
