Wanna Know, About My Week? #2

Well, look at me.. following through with my "what if I did a weekly Saturday, recap of my week, wonder how long it will last.." two weeks down.  well kinda, more like it's really only been 7 days.  Whoa, that whole sentence was a disaster.

So this week.
Kinda super sick, still.
It was great.
confession of a twenty something drama queen.. I just did a vlog, first ever, with my raspy smoker-esc voice. It's so never seeing the light of day.
In all of my exhausted efforts to find the will to carry on..  I text one of my best friends Brooke whom I lovingly refer to as Tamponia.  I am Padtastic.
(Don't you just love my maternity shirt? Oh laws.)

Our conversation went as follows.
True story.
9:01 a.m. Tuesday.
Me: I was wondering if you could kill me..
Her: Will you buy me an ice cream first?
Me: Only if you sign the contract in blood.
Her: Chocolate.
Me. No, blood.
Her: But can my ice cream be chocolate?
Me: I guess.
Her: No I changed my mind.
Me: But I heard if you eat chocolate ice cream when you are pregnant your baby will be born with three arms. (She's pregnant..)
Me: Changed your mind about what?
Her: Killin you.  3 arms would be nice when bringin' in groceries.
Me: You don't want to kill me anymore?
Her: No, but I still want chocolate ice cream.
Me: WTF! True friends kill each other when requested.
Her: But what about Kimmy's birthday?
Me: Fine. Brookkkkke. After dinner. You're gonna commit murder.
Her. Okay, as long you buy me an ice cream.
Me: You're gonna flip when I show up with a pint of ice cream.
Her: Oh, I know you too well, I'll be expecting it.

Next day.
Me: Brooke! It's noon WTF! (I talk to Brooke every single day, she usually texts me at 6 in the morning)
Her: I'm givin you the silent treatment Shay, I really want some damn ice cream.

I blogged a little blog that  was super personal, sobbed when I wrote it. I still feel good about it..
& came out as a ninja turtle, fought with Katy Perry, which resulted in one of my favorite bloggers thinking it was shout out worthy (She's amazing, you should follow her) and I risked my life for this post.

I posted this picture on my fb wall.
With a perfect description of..
"I'm probably gonna die young.."

Saw this, laughed for like six minutes straight.
This brought me to tears of joy.

Read this quote, pasted it on this photo I took a few weeks ago..
I love that quote.
Maybe it's because its I'm Irish, (hello Kilfoyle) and its an Irish Proverb

I finally saw Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close.
Beautiful.
Haunting.
Breath Taking.
Devastating.
There are moments in this movie, where I found myself almost hesitant to watch, almost as if I was watching someones life that I wasn't invited to be a part of.  Where I forgot they were actors.  It seemed like a family ruined, crawling, bleeding.. doing anything they can to just mend their hearts, and un-sever the ties which bound them.
It was the kind of movie where everyone in the theater is frozen in place as the ending credits roll, silence and their own life questions filling every seat.
And in the end I concluded that a love like that.. never leaves.
I started reading this book.
And let me tell you..
I have had to practice GREAT self control to not flip to the final chapters.
So far oh so good.
I was told via my "friends"
that I was defective for not liking The Hunger Games.
But I didn't cry. Don't you even worry.

Overall..
My week..
Well..
Uh.
It was full of sarcasm.
A good movie.
A car break down (Monday post)
Some sickness.
And some more sickness.
Caffeine.
Lemon Cookie Thins.
Girl Scout Cookie order.
Work.
Kinda boring.
My friends full blown nervous break down.. whoa.
Parenthood.
Modern Family.
&
Grey's.
And now, I'm back to my bed.
I really am sick.
UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH.

Favorite song find of the week.
